On 12 March, Sovcomflot’s tanker Victor Konetsky loaded the milestone 100-millionth tonne of oil produced at the Sakhalin oil fields (Chayvo, Odoptu and Arkutun-Dagi), for delivery to customers in South Korea.

The batch was shipped through the De-Kastri terminal (Khabarovsk Krai).

The capacity of the De-Kastri export terminal is 12 million tonnes of oil per annum. The first oil was shipped from the terminal in 2006. The 60 metres high offshore mooring is located six kilometres offshore.

SCF Group operates regular large-capacity oil shipments from the De-Kastri terminal using five Aframax-size shuttle tankers: Yuri Senkevich; Viktor Titov; Victor Konetsky; Captain Kostichev and Pavel Chernysh. All vessels have a double hull and an ice class of 1C. In addition, three multipurpose icebreaking supply vessels are operated by SCF Group as a part of the Sakhalin-1 project: Vitus Bering; Aleksey Chirikov and SCF Sakhalin. They service the Berkut (Arkutun-Dagi field) and Orlan (Chayvo field) production platforms. All three supply vessels have a high ice class – Icebreaker ICE-10.
