Nikolay Kolesnikov, Executive Vice President and CFO of Sovcomflot, recently took part in the 32nd Annual Marine Money Week conference “Capital for Shipping: Adapt” in New York City, USA. At the event, he participated in the panel discussion «LNG – The Only Fossil Fuel with Demand Growth».
In April 2019, Sovcomflot won the annual Marine Money 'Deal of the Year' Award in the category 'Green Ship Finance - West'. The publication recognised Sovcomflot's credit agreement, with a consortium of foreign banks, to finance the construction of a series of the world's first large-capacity LNG-fuelled oil tankers. Sovcomflot became the first company to win this new award.
